Over the years, ArteCo has established itself as a leading event on the cultural scene, attracting thousands of visitors from all over the country. Each edition of the fair features a diverse program that includes book presentations, art exhibitions, performances, video art screenings, workshops, and conferences. One of the highlights of the fair is the participation of artists from the region, who have the opportunity to showcase their talent and share their work with a broader and more specialized audience. This project thus becomes a platform for discovering new talent and promoting the local art scene. The artist selection process for this sixth edition of ArteCo has been rigorous and meticulous. Proposals from artists in various disciplines, such as painting, sculpture, photography, video art, and performance, among others, have been evaluated. The main objective has been to create a diverse and representative sample of current artistic production. To carry out this process, a selection committee was formed, composed of experts in each of the aforementioned artistic disciplines. This year, Joaquín Rodríguez, Yuyo Gardiol, and Fernanda Toccalino were invited to participate. Each committee member carefully reviewed the proposals received, evaluating the artistic quality, originality, conceptual coherence, and feasibility of each project.
