This residency, which culminated in an OPEN STUDIO, was an invitation to explore, experiment with, and deconstruct textile practices for a week. Traditional techniques were explored from a contemporary perspective, allowing each participant to reinterpret the methods through gesture, concept, and materiality to develop their own work.
