The Good Enough Artist revisits Donald Winnicott's notion of the "good enough mother": a figure who doesn't conform to the ideal of perfection, but rather provides what is necessary to enable development. This concept serves as a framework for understanding artistic practice: a production that asserts itself without demanding completeness, sustained by just the right measure. Translated to the field of art, the idea of ​​"sufficiency" becomes a critical stance. The artist is not defined by perfection or the finished image, but by the capacity to sustain a process and generate the conditions for the work to emerge. In this sense, "sufficiency" operates as resistance against the mandates of productivity, excellence, and success that regulate both social life and the art system. The works are situated in this territory: figures that support and are supported, fragmented bodies, collective scenes, everyday materials that shift painting from the solemn realm to a more direct and permeable space. The urgent brushstroke, the hybrid supports, and the tension between the domestic and the symbolic constitute a language that works with the possibility of the image, not with its closure. The exhibition script organizes the show into three core themes: The house as frame and boundary, where the architectural and the domestic function as structures of containment. The body that sustains, where the mother-child relationship and vulnerability become the driving force of production. The communal and the ritual, which extends the notion of care toward a collective dimension. Calling oneself a "good enough" artist does not imply renunciation, but rather assuming one's own rhythm: accepting that the unfinished, the fragile, or the irregular can be forms of power. The exhibition proposes that "sufficient"—the time that sustains—can also be the place where the work becomes possible.
